Tests

Tests conducted by Ultraviolet Lamp Manufactures revealed the SafeGuard UV Cleanser's High Output Germicidal Light produces over 1025 microwatts @ 1 foot.

To compute time needed to sterilize micro-organisms in the following chart at 1 foot distance from the light, simply divide the dosage required by 1025.

Example: for 90% kill factor of Bacillus subtilis spores:11,600 divided by 1025 = 11.25 seconds.
